Sunny Day At Green Lake

Green Lake is a glacial-dug lake on the north side of Seattle and a popular attraction to locals and tourists alike. The entire lake is circled with a paved trail, open to all forms of non-motorized traffic. The park is also home to several sports fields, a wading pool, boat rentals and even a small unoccupied island in the middle.

This is one of the few places that I see people really co-existing with the animal inhabitents as it appears that much of the wildlife is very accustomed to the constant flow of human interaction. The ducks here were even willing to eat straight out of my hand!
